After translating this French website into English, Spanish, German, Italian and Dutch in 2003-04, we have continued to provide regular services to this tourist board, including translations from French into Russian during 2006. We work directly in the client’s back office system, and have also provided website marketing and interpreting services.
The Languedoc-Roussillon region covers a large area of southern France, and receives as many tourists as Morocco. |

Val de Loire UNESCO World Heritage site |

Since 2004, The Final Word has been the preferred translator of the “Val de Loire” UNESCO-listed World Heritage Site in the Loire Valley in France. After translating the client’s new French website into English, Spanish, Italian and German, and providing new copy for overseas markets, we have continued to translate news items for the website on a day to day basis. |

Hérault tourist board |

The Final Word first began working with the Hérault tourist board in 2003. We have provided new copy for the tourist board’s website, undertaken website marketing in English and German, and translated original French copy into English. In 2006, after a long and successful collaboration, we were delighted to win a regular contract to update the English translation of the website on a monthly basis.
Hérault is a major tourism destination in southern France, and includes the city of Montpellier. |

ELWa: Education & Learning Wales |

The Final Word’s ability to translate HTML files from English to Welsh and work within short deadlines was the combination needed by ELWa when extending the Welsh language version of its website in 2004. ELWa is funded by the Welsh Assembly, and is responsible for funding, planning and promoting all post-16 education and training in Wales with the exception of Higher Education. |

In 2006, The Final Word won a contract to translate a new website for the Mayenne Tourist Board in northern France. We translated from French into English, working directly in the client's back office. The project included the translation of Flash elements as well as html files. We are delighted to have won this new client, which reinforces our position as a growing tourism translation company. |

A growing reputation for online translation and multi-lingual marketing led to our winning a prestigious contract to provide website marketing services to the town of Béziers in southern France. The annual contract, which began in May 2006, involves search engine optimisation and web marketing services in English, French, Spanish and German. |

International Rivers and Heritage Institute |

As a result of our work with the Val de Loire UNESCO World Heritage Site, The Final Word has been providing regular translations from French to English for the International Institute for Rivers and Cultural Heritage in the Loire Valley. This work involves us in a close partnership with the Institute as it disseminates knowledge and expertise throughout the world, wherever there are major rivers and especially supporting river communities in the developing world.
